  Whilst walking with a friend who loves alcohol ,in a neighborhood full of pubs and bars the street took a completely different turn and we ended up in the area full of mosques. Interestingly he commented  “why there are so many mosques? how can a person decide which mosque I want to go and pray in?” And abruptly a response came out of my mouth “ you never have the same problem  whilst walking around the pubs and the bars, how do you decide, which bar I want to go to and drink tonight ? So why we are so confused about the mosques? when it is just a house of worship and you can go and pray in any of them, whichever you find closer”. It is the same with those unfortunate ones ,who complain about the sound of, the prayer call, with “oh it is too loud” or “we get disturbed by this noise 5 times a day”, their ears never complain about the music that is played all day, they do not moan about the  profanity that fill their ears or the constant hammering on their nerves abo...

  Guilt after committing a sin is a very powerful force, it can lead one to death, especially when one loses the ability to find peace in repentance.Infact its not the actual sin that leads one to the point of no return ,but the idea that my sin is beyond redemption. That is when one decides to drown, and put an end to any argument that rises inside ones conscience ,they begin to keep slipping in the darkness , silence their inner voice , shut out anyone around, who dares to remind them of the light , to the extent that there is no way out of this darkness they eventually sink into. All of this does not happen overnight ,in a swift moment, it is such a slow and gradual process that one does not even have the time to apprehend what is happening to them.   Sometimes simple and mindless colouring is all you need . It’s not a very high level artistic work ,but it is therapeutic to draw something simple and full of meaning for oneself. A tiny dream ,the house represents a cottage on an island, the flowers depict the colours and adds beauty to the canvas of our mind ,while the butterflies shows life,vibrant and calming, flying around freely, makes one feel like slow down for a moment and think about small things that makes us peaceful… its never too much to pick up a pencil and a page and some colour and just sketch whatever your heart feels like.
