To be in a relationship is a huge commitment , to fight monotony, differences, difference of opinions , habits, thoughts, ideas and embracing your partner with all of the challenges is not a piece of cake. Although it seems like super easy in the beginning, when we are living it half in reality and the other half in the world of dreams. However when you take your vows and begin to live a routine together , with all it's realities and responsibilities, it might turn into a challenge at some point , for every couples, although it's intensity might be different.
It won't be wrong to say that the biggest challenge of present times is boredom and the distractions we find to overcome that makes it even worse .In the past human beings were generally suffice with whatever they had , they were grateful for everything in their lives ,perhaps due to the fact that they were able to achieve those things after a great struggle, Nowadays it's the opposite, easy come & easy go fits well for the present generation. They fall in love as easily as they move out of it . As the high level of expectations caused by the social media are absolutely damaging. From the eyes to the ears , we are fed with ideas , that makes so many people have imaginary, unrealistic expectations about their relationships, and when reality hits hard, it leads to a disaster.
In moments like those if you have strong family values , If you are raised with the idea of having your own family one day , this could be helpful, it'll certainly make you ponder and hold onto your companion, ensuring you that one day it'll make you feel proud that you fought that moment of doubt and held onto your promise, on the other hand , if you are raised with the selfish idea of individualism or satisfying your own needs only , that can cause an immense wreck .
If you look at those old couples who've spent 60 or 70 years of their lives together, it wasn't always a bed of roses , chocolates and flowers for them , they went through the hardships while holding hands and keeping their promise to each other. There's a reason it's said buckle up for the bumpy road of marriage .
