The Spring And Flowers In The Warzones Are Waiting For Peace

Came across these profound words of Rumi from “Because I cannot sleep “,whilst drawing this art ,reminded me of spring flowers from all the war warzones, especially the spring of Afghanistan, the spring of Syria ,Yemen and Iraq ,the beautiful lands waiting for the flowers to bloom and butterflies to fly around those colours, adding more life to it .

“Because I cannot sleep
I make music at night.
I am troubled by the one
whose face has the color of spring flowers.
I have neither sleep nor patience,
neither a good reputation nor disgrace.
A thousand robes of wisdom are gone.
All my good manners have moved a thousand miles away.
The heart and the mind are left angry with each other.
The stars and the moon are envious of each other.
Because of this alienation the physical universe
is getting tighter and tighter.
The moon says, ‘How long will I remain
suspended without a sun?’
Without Love’s jewel inside of me,
let the bazaar of my existence be destroyed stone by stone.
O Love, You who have been called by a thousand names,
You who know how to pour the wine
into the chalice of the body,
You who give culture to a thousand cultures,
You who are faceless but have a thousand faces,
O Love, You who shape the faces
of Turks, Europeans, and Zanzibaris,
give me a glass from Your bottle,
or a handful of being from Your Branch.
Remove the cork once more.
Then we’ll see a thousand chiefs prostrate themselves,
and a circle of ecstatic troubadours will play.
Then the addict will be freed of craving.
and will be resurrected,
and stand in awe till Judgement Day”
― Rumi

Rumi’s soul used to make music , the conversations he had with his creator , beautifully turned into lyrics, waiting for a symphony.Just like that my restless soul wait for peace and prosperity on Eastern lands , so we can travel , those waiting to go home to see the spring on their lands , to see the birds and butterflies of their land can find their lost souls again.

There are a huge number of people in every corner of the world who are addicted to coffee, from opening their eyes and crawling out of bed for a hot cuppa to drinking this beverage whole day till they hit the sack again .The legend has it that the magical beans were discovered by the Sufi mystics in  the vibrant and warm land of Yemen. A l-Mukha  or Mocha and المُخا in Arabic  , is a port city on the  Red Sea  coast of  Yemen  , it is considered the house of coffee,  the name Mokha which later got fame as Mocha aswell is named after this historically rich city of Yemen.Today there are many who claim the monopoly on this dark brew , but it is said that it was the Yemenies or land of Yemen who introduced coffee beans to the world, when the magical beans left the shores of Yemen, the Ottomans taught the Europeans how to make and drink coffee and later when their colonialism started to spread,  so does their interest in the magical beans ,...
