Energy Vampires

 Energy vampires!!

Some might say that these creatures are the ones who feed on your empathies or your soft side , your willingness to lend an ear when they needs it , but there is an another kind who sucks it worse than any , that's the kind who drains the positivity  out of you,  trample on your optimism,  your light and delight.For them it's an impossible task to let things be simple and buoyant. 


Let me elaborate on this a little bit more,  it's like you wake up with a very positive energy,  put on your spiffiest outfit,  you cook while singing and have your most favourite breakfast with great appetite , but after you reach at work, someone who has taken an oath to never let others enjoy the feeling of joy ,with their ghastly negative energy , dampens your ardour. Believe me they've  that impact,  especially when you are slightly unaware of their effect and have your guards down.  It takes a moment & some breaths to compose and maintain your own energy. 

The best defence is to maintain a distance from such energy drainers , and if they initiate a conversation or hurl a stingy remark, ignore their negativity and focus on your task .Its not an easy practice for the sensitive ones , who have a habit of overthinking or rationalising everything,  but adopting that mode is actually a life saving effort. Sit down for a minute,  ask yourself if it's worth hurting yourself,  the answer is absolutely a no , so just let it go, don't let them suck your energy...
